Danny Lilker Sets Record Straight Regarding ANTHRAX VH1 Special

Former ANTHRAX/current S.O.D. bassist Danny Lilker has contacted BLABBERMOUTH.NET to set the record straight regarding his non-involvement with the upcoming VH1 Behind The Music special on ANTHRAX, which is currently being prepared for a tentative February/March air date. As per Lilker's request, we have added a link to the thread on the Relapse Records message board from which his quotes were lifted for our original report, which appeared here yesterday (so as to ensure that his statements could be read in their correct context), and we have agreed to post the following message from the bassist regarding the entire issue: After seeing the [BLABBERMOUTH.NET] story in its original incarnation, I felt that my words were taken out of context, and asked the editor to include the link to the Relapse Message Board thread from which my quote was taken. Yes, I am disappointed and somewhat pissed that I was not being asked to participate in the making of the [VH1 special on ANTHRAX], but I did not say these things [that were attributed to me in the original article] out of nowhere, as you will see if you check it out for yourself."
