According to Phride.com, KORN has been confirmed as the headliner of Day 1 of next year's Dubai Desert Rock Fest, set to take place March 7-8, 2008 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The touring lineup for KORN will be as follows;

Jonathan Davis - Vocals, Bagpipes
James "Munky" Shaffer - Guitar
Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu - Bass

Backing band:

Michael Jochum - Percussion
Zac Baird - Keyboards
Kalen Chase - Backing Vocals, Percussion, Guitar
Ray Luzier - Drums
Shane Gibson - Guitar

Also scheduled to appear is Marky Ramone, the former drummer of the iconic punk group the RAMONES.

Seven more bands will be announced during the coming weeks.

Over the past years four years, Dubai Desert Rock Fest achieved great success, hosting such artists as IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH, IN FLAMES, STONE SOUR, MASTODON, ROBERT PLANT, TESTAMENT, MACHINE HEAD, WITHIN TEMPTATION, SEPULTURA and many others.
