VINCE NEIL To Headline HEART OF ILLINOIS FAIR

According to PJStar.com, MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil is the headline act on the 2010 Heart of Illinois Fair's rock-heavy entertainment lineup.

The 61st annual fair, set for July 9-17 at Exposition Gardens, also features performances by HALESTORM, SICK PUPPIES and DROWNING POOL.

Neil will perform on the fair's grandstand stage on July 9. Tickets are $28 the day of the show or $25 in advance at all Co-Op Records locations.

"You hear the cliché phrase, 'Peoria's a rock town and rock shows work,' and it's certainly true," said Matt Bahan, morning show host and program director for the rock radio station WIXO-FM 105.7 "The X". "We have a little of everything - the classic act, the up-and-comer, the new bands, the hot rock girls. We're trying to slam home the idea of doing a bigger artist, and that's where Vince falls into line."
