VINNIE PAUL Talks New HELLYEAH Album In 'HardDrive' Video Interview

"HardDrive" host Lou Brutus conducted an interview last week with HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. The chat can now be viewed below.

"HardDrive" is a two-hour weekend show hosted by Lou Brutus. This July, it will be celebrating its 14th year on the air.

"HardDrive" has led the way to giving bands like SLIPKNOT, KORN and countless new bands huge exposure on a national basis.

In 2007, United Stations Radio Networks launched "HardDrive XL" with Lou Brutus, a Monday-Friday 7 p.m.-midnight show.

"HardDrive" and "HardDrive XL" can be heard on nearly 150 stations combined nationwide.

HELLYEAH features musicians from various other groups, including Vinnie Paul Abbott, who played with PANTERA and DAMAGEPLAN, as well as vocalist Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett of MUDVAYNE, DAMAGEPLAN bassist Bob "Zilla" Kakaha and NOTHINGFACE axeman Tom Maxwell.

HELLYEAH's sophomore album, "Stampede", is scheduled for release on July 13.

The band filmed videos for two new songs, "Hell Of A Time" and "Cowboy Way", on April 18 at the Longhorn Saloon in Fort Worth, Texas.

HELLYEAH will headline the Jägermeister Second Stage at the first annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, which is set to rock North America in August-October. Performing on the main stage will be DISTURBED and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, along with STONE SOUR and HALESTORM. AIRBOURNE, HAIL THE VILLAIN, NEW MEDICINE and the Jägermeister Battle of The Bands Winner in each city will round out the Jägermeister Second Stage bill. The 36-date tour launches August 17 in Minneapolis, MN and will visit arenas and amphitheatres across North America before wrapping October 4 in Madison, WI.

HELLYEAH's self-titled debut has sold more than 350,000 copies since coming out in April 2007.
